Mohammed Ezzine

Mohammed Ezzine is a Professor of Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Management at Hassan II University Mohammedia-Casablanca. He is also a certified consultant facilitator of Profitable Environmental Management and Chemicals Management, and was co-founder and President of GEP-Marocco association during four years. Educated in Morocco and France, he has a Bachelor in Chemistry (1988), a Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry (1994) and a PhD in Physico-Chemistry (1998). He has published over 50 scientific articles and co-supervised 10 Doctorates. He is married and has 3 children.

Since 2000, he focused on leadership in higher education and management tools related to the environment, particularly in the industrial environment. He has assisted over 60 companies during the last five years. He is active in promoting industrial environmental management tools and improving working conditions in developing countries - especially in the Middle East and North Africa. He also promotes eco-efficiency, cleaner production, sustainable consumption and production, as well as corporate social responsibility principles in these regions. He collaborated with several organizations in the framework of national and international programmes (EVAL, TAM-GTZ, GTZ-PGPE, GRECO-CPRAC, IFC, sba) and is regularly involved in development of new concepts and research projects in the field of sustainable development.
