Thérèse Huissoud is an international consultant in evaluation. She has a Master in Geography from the University of Geneva Swizerland (1982) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Planning and Public Management (IDHEAP, Lausanne, 1984). She is married and has 2 children. After having worked several years in the field of land planning at the Institute for Environmental Construction of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (ETH Lausanne), she focused her work on public health evaluation at the Institute for Social and Preventive Medicine in Lausanne, where she has been working since 1997.
The key domains of her evaluation work are drug issues and HIV/AIDS prevention. She was also involved with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in Mali as international consultant for the evaluation of their 20-year health programme in the region of Sikasso. For 12 years, she supported and followed projects of micro-development in Mali (region of Bandiagara) where she has been living since 2010.
