Brahim Lekhlif

Brahim Lekhlif is a professor at the Ecole Hassania des Travaux Publics (EHTP) in Morocco. Specialised in wastewater and drinkable water treatment as well as in waste valorisation, he has obtained his engineer diploma at the National Superior School of Chemistry of Toulouse in 1980 and has defended his state thesis at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the Department of Chemical Engineering in Liège in 1992.

He  teaches, supervises and coordinates research projects, and has trained 27 chemical engineers in wastewater treatment. He also realises studies and surveys focussing on environmental management systems and water treatment in several industrial sectors (e.g. tannery, textile). He has also coordinated and participated in several global, cutting-edge projects on topics such as the artificial recharge of groundwater, the problematic of selenium, and IdeaMed. Finally, Pr. Lekhlif has worked as a national expert at the Department of Environment, the ONEE and within various Moroccan consulting firms. He is married and a father of three children.
