Having graduated from the University of London with a Masters Degree in Geography of Third World Development and in Environmental Governance, Khulood Tubaishat pursued the career path of a an enthusiastic and dedicated environmental professional. Khulood occupied various positions in a number of local and regional organizations including working as a Managing Director of ArabEnv – Environmental Solutions and Sustainability where she managed a number of projects relating to energy efficiency and environmental education, in addition to working as a policy advisor and program developer for The Saudi Environment Society (SENS). She has also worked as a Regional Consultant on the "Participatory Assessment of Environment and Security issues in the Southern Mediterranean Region" Project in cooperation with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), and the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP).
Khulood also worked as a UNDp Lead Specialist on Public Awareness and Participation, Capacity Building, Education, Women and Children issues. Working with the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) Khulood served as an Environmental and Public Awareness specialist on the Dana Wildlife GEF-UNDP Project. Moreover, she has worked as an Environmental outreach Specialist, with Massar Society (Syria) and sba. Khulood holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics and computer sciences from Yarmouk University, and attended several professional training programs at Harvard and Yale Universities.
